There is
a moment in our lives when we just had enough. In that moment we need to take
some time to re-think what exactly are we doing and why. What are our goals in
life, and are we on the right track. Also you may want to be in the moment. Not
dreaming about a future that is 10, 20, 30 years away. Be in the current moment
and see what you can change so you can help and support yourself.
Every time I feel like I need to take some time off I
just do it. There is no secret really. I just do things that I like or nothing
at all. Going out for a walk can refresh your brain and fill it with new ideas.
Also nature can calm you down, so go to the park. The weather is starting to
get bad now, but don’t worry, as I have some tricks up my sleeve.
- First
you can make yourself a warm cup of something that you like – a coffee or tea
or whatever.
- Second
you can listen to calming and relaxing music, to keep your thoughts away from
the cold and gray winter.
- Third
you can print some pictures with nature or some place that you love on them,
and pull them out, every time you feel depressed.
- Forth
you can embrace the winter – it’s here, it’s that time of the year, so just
face it, accept it as it is – this will make you feel awesome and calm.
- Fifth
you can focus on your work and you won’t have time for bad thoughts.
- Sixth
you can meditate (which I highly recommend) because it will ease your stress
levels to a minimum and you will let go off the negative energy that’s in you.
So take
some time off… enjoy what you like to do, relax, and see what you can do to
improve yourself even more !
