Dealing with anxiety.

1. Breathing technique


            - Start by acquiring a position that is comfortable for you. Close your eyes, try to relax your body. Inhale from your nose for 4 seconds. Then hold for 4 seconds. Exhale for another 4 seconds, but through your mouth. Do this when you feel tense. You can do these once a day – 4 to 10 breaths. (4 – 4 - 4 = 1)

2. Listen to music that makes you feel good

            - Try different styles and focus on what is your breathing – is it getting tense and shallow or more relaxed and deep. Experiment until you find the right one. (For me it is classical)

3. Go take a bath !

            - Water always is a great partner to calm and clear your thoughts. Having a bath is almost equal to meditating. If you don’t have a bath, go for a shower.

4. Meditate once a day.

            - Focus while meditation on your breathing and just relax doing so. Maybe get a picture in your mind of the things that make you feel good, or you already have and make you happy.

5. Try green tea !

            - It has unlimited number of good qualities.
6. Exercise.

            - Go to the gym and burn off the stress. Or just go out for a walk. It will get your blood pumping and make you feel good.

7. Clean your house !

            - Make room for something new, and throw away the old and broken stuff you have.

8. Make yourself an aromatherapy.

            - Find the right burning candles that make you feel good. Use the fragrances you like, light them up, lay down and relax.

9. Go help a friend.


            - We always have some friends in need, now is the time to help them out, and in the same time feel good about yourself.
